Dr. Danielewicz then fits your customized plastic aligners to your teeth once they’ve been manufactured. As you wear them, the aligners smoothly and gently shift your teeth into perfect alignment. You can remove your aligners for eating and teeth cleaning easy, but you should make sure you wear your aligners for at least 20 hours per day for optimal results. Invisalign should stay in your mouth if you’re not brushing your teeth or eating.
Typically every two weeks or so, you return to the dental office for a new set of aligners to continue the straightening process until your smile has its new shape.
